Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer - Residential Driver Patrolin San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine mobile patrols stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed guard card or license with daily reporting and updates completed using technology such as a computer or tablet.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at entrances and/or gates by verifying identification managing visitor logs and directing deliveries and service providers per site procedures.
- Respond to alarms calls for service and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; request law enforcement and/or medical support when needed and permitted by post orders.
- Maintain readiness and accountability of issued equipment including firearm and related gear follow all licensing requirements and use of force guidelines and complete accurate reports and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
