Job Summary

This role has the primary responsibility is to package and check the quality of the Herr Foods Inc. products.
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Entry-Level Grounds Maintenance Worker (Seasonal) position joining our Nottingham PA team starting in the month of April and going through October!
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
HOURS: 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing year round landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as well as performing routine maintenance of all landscaping/grounds equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Grounds Maintenance and Upkeep
- Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers tractors twin-axle vehicles snow blowers chain saws electric clippers sod cutters and pruning saws.
- Mow & edge lawns; mulch aerate trim and edge flowerbeds walks and walls.
- Weed flower beds landscaping and common areas.
- Prune and/or trim trees shrubs or hedges using shears pruners or chain saws.
- Gather and remove litter and outdoor trash receptacles.
- Mix and spray or spread fertilizer herbicides or insecticides onto grass shrubs or trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
- Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks driveways parking lots planters and other ground areas.
- Oversees fall leaf clean up including stick removal leaf clean up and raking.
- Sweep and clean around compactors dumpsters and docks as needed
Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep
- Maintain and/or repair tools equipment or structures such as buildings fences or benches using hand or power tools.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in oversight in pump house when needed
- Run errands when needed for parts
