In Asia Pacific ING offers wholesale banking across 11 markets namely Australia China Hong Kong SAR India Indonesia Japan the Philippines Singapore South Korea Taiwan and Vietnam.
ING offers both retail and wholesale banking services in Australia. INGs regional presence includes a 13% stake in Bank of Beijing China and a 30% stake in TMBThanachart Bank in Thailand.
What will you be doing
As an intern you will play an active role in supporting the team through a range of tasks including but not limited to:
Conducting due diligence assisting with account opening processes and performing environmental risk governance analysis.
Preparing pitch books showcasing INGs products tailored to TMT&H clients.
Supporting portfolio management activities such as internal data preparation annual and quarterly credit reviews and ad-hoc applications.
Carrying out research projects aligned with sector trends and developments.
What qualities and skills are we looking for
Currently enrolled as a full-time university student in your 3rd or final year or a recent graduate (within 6 months of official graduation date).
Familiarity with the TMT or healthcare sectors in Asia is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to commit to a 6-month internship and work on-site at least 4 days per week.
