As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol in Chandler AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds support access control and report security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will remain highly visible to help to deter incidents while supporting a professional workplace experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices labs parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and common areas observe for unusual behavior and report suspicious activity maintenance issues and policy concerns through required communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation coordinating with site contacts and contacting public emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols alarms incidents and customer requests with clear accurate reporting and support investigations by collecting observations and preserving the scene for authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
