A large and well-structured 1116 secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a diligent and compassionate Attendance & Pastoral Administrator to join its established pastoral team. The Role
As Attendance & Pastoral Administrator you will work closely with the Attendance Lead Heads of Year and Safeguarding Team to ensure accurate record keeping and timely intervention.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring daily attendance using SIMS (or equivalent MIS)
Contacting parents regarding absence and recording reasons accurately
Producing weekly attendance reports for Heads of Year
Supporting early help referrals and safeguarding documentation
Coordinating meetings with parents and external agencies
Maintaining confidential student records in line with GDPR
Assisting with penalty notice and local authority correspondence
You will play a proactive role in identifying attendance patterns and supporting early intervention strategies.
