About the Role
The school is seeking a proactive and highly organised Finance Officer to support the effective management of the schools financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring robust financial procedures compliance with statutory regulations and the accurate monitoring of budgets.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
Supporting budget setting and financial forecasting
Producing financial reports for senior leadership and governors
Managing reconciliations and ensuring audit readiness
Supporting payroll and pension administration where required

Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
Relevant finance qualification (AAT or equivalent desirable)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
