Job Summary: The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting ensuring safe and effective patient care through both circulating and scrub roles while collaborating with the surgical team.

Responsibilities
Perform circulating and scrub duties during surgical procedures.
Prepare operating rooms and ensure availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
Conduct preoperative assessments and verify surgical documentation.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond to changes in condition.
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards.
Document surgical procedures and patient care accurately in the EMR.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience.
Experience in both scrub and circulating roles.
EPIC EMR experience highly preferred.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications
AHA BLS.
AHA ACLS.
PALS.
CNOR.

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
