Job Title: Lead Java Backend Developer

Location: Texas Plano

Duration: 6 Moonths

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Java 8 to join our dynamic team in Plano Texas. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development demonstrating a deep understanding of Java programming and its ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our clients needs.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and implement software applications using Java 8.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues ensuring timely resolution.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
Document software designs processes and technical specifications.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java 8 including its features and libraries.
Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
Familiarity with web technologies such as RESTful APIs HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and SQL.
Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
Experience in developing microservices architecture.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
5 7 years of professional experience in software development.
Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
