Job Summary

Back half shift: Wednesday- Saturday 5AM-3:30 PM if there is OT it will be on Tuesdays


Overall Purpose:
In addition to the daily processing of Medical Kits through New Kit Build and or the Refurbishment processes of the Production Assembler position the Lead Position will provide team support and prioritize daily functions to the team. They will be first point of contact for identifying and addressing production issues and suggest solutions to improve processes to minimize errors. The Lead position is also responsible for daily safety checks and ensure all associates follow safety guidelines. The Lead Position will also delegate EOD housekeeping duties and ensure completion. Responsibilities also include data reporting of production KPIs

Key Responsibilities:
  • First point of contact for production issues and/or concerns.
  • Daily Pre-Shift Safety check
  • Update priority boards
  • EOD work area housekeeping completion
  • Daily reporting on production KPIs
  • Problem solving
  • Ensure safety compliance.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and conduct regular inspection to identify any issues.
  • Provide training and support to team and foster a positive work environment.
  • Review and evaluate work instructions and recommend improvements as necessary.


Required Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with conflict resolution
  • Strong communicator with the ability to maintain open and transparent communication ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Experience with data programs such as Excel
  • Demonstrated basic competency skills email document retrieval systems.
  • Proven ability to work in a detail-oriented position.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow facility safety protocols; previous experience with OSHA Standards preferred.

Required Work Experience(Brief description of the job-related experience needed to perform the job)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Utilization of Bar Code scanners / interaction with company system (ERP) preferred.
Required Qualifications(Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job)
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment requiring high levels of quality / throughput
