Job Summary

Job Title: Technician
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Grand Rapids MI 49504
Shift:

Working Shift: 3rd Shift
Training Shift: 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

Construct troubleshoot calibrate adjust test and maintain electronic mechanical and electromechanical systems
Work from schematics engineering drawings and verbal/written instructions
Operate equipment and conduct tests with documented results
Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments and replacements
Prepare compounds and solutions as required
Provide technical support in production maintenance testing and process improvement
Gather format and analyze technical data using defined procedures
Run minor projects including testing data interpretation and reporting
Suggest and implement work process improvements
Train and support lower-level technicians

Must Have

Understanding of Process Engineering principles
Ability to learn and use MAP Agile and SAP
Knowledge of Scientific Method (DMAIC)
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
Experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems
Strong communication skills
Minimum 4 years of relevant technician experience

Nice to Have

Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing
Experience running minor technical projects
Experience training or mentoring technicians
Vocational or technical certification

Role Scope

Owns and executes minor technical projects
Performs non-routine technical work
Proposes solutions to technical problems
Communicates with internal teams
Provides coaching and technical guidance to peers

Education

Vocational or technical education or certification preferred
Equivalent experience accepted
