Role: Solutions Architect

Location: McKinney Texas - 4 days onsite

Job Type : Contract

Role Objective:

The Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end IT integration architecture evaluating current-state IT environments and defining a future-state hybrid architecture with a prioritized risk-aware integration roadmap. The objective is to minimize risk and create repeatable runbooks for future acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead health and hygiene discovery across Azure data centers (ATL DAL NJ CAN) VMware network EUC and IT Ops.

- Document current-state architecture risks and dependencies.

- Define future-state hybrid architecture and Azure landing zone strategy.

- Own VMware mitigation and exit strategy.

- Create a prioritized transition roadmap (what comes first second etc.).

- Develop reusable integration runbooks.

Required Experience:

- 12 15 years in solution or enterprise architecture.

- Strong Azure hybrid cloud data center and VMware experience.

- Proven IT integration or M&A experience.
