As a Security Officer - Warehouse Driver Patrol in STATEN ISLAND NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an unarmed patrol officer supporting day-to-day operations through visible presence and regular patrols of buildings grounds and access points. You will help to deter security-related incidents respond to calls for service document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of facilities grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards maintenance issues and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening as required including verifying identification controlling visitor entry and/or directing visitors to appropriate areas.
• Complete routine reports and logs communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts and support security-related audits inspections and/or special assignments as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
