Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Shuttle Driverin Leesport PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hospitals and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and service requests. You will document observations communicate clearly with staff and visitors and support a professional environment through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access requirements and/or identification checks at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation including shift logs and activity summaries and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
- Monitor entrances restricted areas and public spaces for policy compliance assist with de-escalation when appropriate and support orderly movement of visitors and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
