As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Relief in Fontana CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government human services location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors with professionalism report concerns and communicate clearly with site leadership and first responders as needed. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government services location by following site-specific security-related procedures access control requirements and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings offices parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner providing clear directions and coordinating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Monitor entry points for authorized access observe for prohibited items and/or behaviors and assist with orderly lines and lobby flow during busy periods.
• Document patrols incidents and daily activities in written reports and logs and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
