As a Security Officer - Patrol Clearance Required in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations support access control as needed and work closely with a team that is agile reliable and innovative. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas observe for unusual activity and report hazards suspicious behavior and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and/or public sector partners as directed.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports patrol logs and shift activity records and communicate key information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
