Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Hospital Rounds in Raleigh NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients staff and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance throughout the facility. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication reflecting Allied Universals values of teamwork integrity and putting people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances exits and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Document incidents observations and daily activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support the enforcement of facility rules and/or regulations to help to deter disruptions within the healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
