Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a tech and telecom location where you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and assist with access control and visitor interactions. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state with opportunities to use clear communication teamwork and integrity while delivering reliable people-first service.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the chain of command as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of offices lobbies parking areas and the perimeter of a technology and telecommunications location with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by monitoring entry points verifying access credentials when required and reporting irregularities.
- Complete shift documentation including patrol logs incident reports and activity summaries and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
- Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
