As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Coopersburg PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge tech location you will conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms access concerns and service requests. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license supporting timely patrol coverage across the site. You will deliver clear communication outstanding customer service and teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring innovative culture at Allied Universal.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology workplace.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices labs production areas parking lots and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Control access using visitor management practices checking identification issuing temporary badges when directed and reporting access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete daily activity reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate unusual conditions maintenance issues and/or policy violations through the appropriate reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
