Job Description
As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Arlington TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive finance location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will support access points report concerns and communicate clearly with employees visitors and your Allied Universal team. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific policies completing required security-related procedures and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location including offices parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity verify identification and/or authorization as required and document entries exits and deliveries according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services and assisting with scene control until relieved.
- Complete routine logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate observations and status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
