Position Summary:

TheOperationsManageris responsible forleading operational excellence within a manufacturing campuson designated shift(s).This role drives the dailyoperationsand the collaborative execution of longer-term strategies aligned with the organizations strategic is measuredacrosssafety role is expected to provide critical leadership and coaching to enable continuous team development.

This position typically reports to the Manufacturing Manager for the plant/manufacturing campus and has a team of 6-12 Supervisors (direct reports) responsible for leading 100-250 hourly associates (indirect reports).

Essential Duties & Responsibilties:

  • Leads by example in a values-based culture ensures alignment to culture and values with leadership teamandassociatesand connectsthe team to the company mission visionand servant leadership to ensure the success of the team.

  • Drives regimented cadence (LeanDailyManagement)throughhighshop floorengagement toresolve daily operational/personnelissues with limited oversight.

  • Leads with continuous improvement mindsettoimprove KPIs andachieve goals associatedwith safetyquality service costand engagement.

  • Able to execute lean toolsto drive outoperationalwaste(I.E. CEDAC DPS Kaizen)

  • Drives a safety focused culture;Able to perform crisis managementcoach others how to navigate safety escalationsand caninspireassociate engagement to drive positive change

  • Ensurescompliance withall regulatory requirements()

  • Understandsand ensures compliance withSwagelokquality managementsystems

  • Ensures products are meeting or exceeding quality requirements; Canassistthe team through product containmentdisciplined problem solving andcorrective actions whilemaintainingproduct flow

  • Leverages business insights to proactively managethe operationsthroughlaborcapacityand materialconstraints. Canutilizethe various toolsneeded tokeep these resources balanced with the needs of the business.

  • Isaccountable toexecutingtobudget understandsproduction variances and drivescountermeasures to meet goals.

  • Administer all Human Resource systems and policies in a fair and consistent includes conflict resolutionperformance managementdevelopment processes hiringdisciplineand termination role is expected to execute these with limited oversight and coach their teams through these processes.

  • Responsible for the development of thesupervisoryteam including coaching deliveringtimelyfeedback holding the teamaccountableand providing opportunity for growth.

  • Ensuresstrong alignment across the operations and functional support groups.

  • Ability to field escalations during non-scheduled working hours

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelorsdegree or a significant amountofrelevant work experience.

  • 4 years ofoperationsexperience(manufacturing orcomparable experience)

  • 2 years of leadershipexperience

Preferred:

  • Leading other leaders

  • Budget management

  • Fluid systems product knowledge

  • Shop floor manufacturing experiencewith astrong understanding of the nature of manufacturing operation
