Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Nights in Kent WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic industrial location where you will conduct routine mobile and on foot patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related issues and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed guard card or license. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a caring culture built on integrity teamwork and innovation.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility warehouses parking areas and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry and/or exit of personnel contractors and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols incidents and observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have a minimum of 1 years of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
