As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Post in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support patients visitors and staff with professional customer service clear communication and prompt reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical emergencies disruptive behavior alarms and requests for assistance from staff patients and/or visitors.
• Monitor and control access in accordance with site procedures including checking credentials as directed assisting with visitor direction and supporting restricted-area controls.
• Complete accurate reports and documentation of incidents patrol observations and daily activities and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
