Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Lobby Screener in El Paso TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a tech and telecommunications location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Screen employees contractors visitors and deliveries at designated entry points using approved methods and equipment and verify identification badges and authorization prior to entry.
- Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as visitor logs package documentation and alarm notifications and report irregularities according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter including checking doors loading areas and restricted spaces for unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
