What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting entrants verifying identification and/or credentials maintaining visitor logs and directing guests in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Answer phones assist with front desk inquiries and support administrative and security-related documentation such as badge records incident reports and visitor registration.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining a visible front desk presence and reporting concerns observed in the lobby and adjacent entry areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
