Job Description
As a Security Guard Flex Armed Vehicle Driver in El Reno OK you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to students staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational setting.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy applicable laws and post orders using sound judgment and a professional demeanor.
- Respond to incidents calls for service and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with campus personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings parking areas and the exterior grounds to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned verify identification and/or authorization when required and document incidents patrol activity and observations in written reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
