FLSA:Permanent Full Time Non-Exempt

Hours: 2 PM - 1AM Monday-Thursday

Job Summary:
The Successful candidateis responsible foroperatingall tanks and kettles used inproductionin accordance withprocess and quality standards to meet production average this operator should complete efficiently at least 2 batches during theshift. This operator can also run at least 1 packaging/filling machine or the heat will perform production activities andoperateproduction tanks and kettlesinaccordance withBRC requirements Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as well as allIlles SOPs Safety and Quality standards and time conducts themselves ina manner that is aligned with Illes Foods Core Values:Operatewith Integrity Stay IntentionallyCurious and Believe in the Power of the Partnership.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check raw materialscontainersand label information against batch sheet for RM Number.

  • Add materials in sequence per batch instruction. Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.

  • Controls blend time per batch instruction.

  • Observe production ormonitorequipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Examine materials ingredients or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance toestablishedstandards.

  • Report equipment malfunctions to team leaderssupervisoror maintenance staff

  • Observe work andmonitorHuman machine interface (HMI) and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.

  • Coordinate sample collection with QA with necessary information for testing.

  • Accurately fill containers to specified label weight or volume.

  • Safelyoperateproductionprocessing andpowered industrial equipment.

  • Load materials and products intopackage.

  • Examine and inspect containers materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.

  • Stack finished containers on pallets per specifications.

  • Accurately punch in make and fill times on the batch sheet usingRiteTime.

  • Clean andmaintainequipment using hand toolsin accordance withhealth and safety standards

  • Check screens and magnets after filling and document information on batch sheet.

  • Mark and label containers container tags or products using marking tools.

  • Move raw materials to production tanks and move finished goods to warehouse.

  • Able to complete minimum of 2.5 batches per 8-hour shift.

  • Maintainappropriateand professional written and verbal communication.

  • Ensure that food safety legality integrity and quality standards are maintained at alltimes.

  • Perform othertasks asassigned by Management.

  • Regular attendance is a requirement of this position for scheduled shifts

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Adherence to policyprocedureand attendance requirements Certified forklift driver.

  • Coordination Adjusting actions in relation to others actions.

  • Equipment Maintenance Performing routine maintenance on equipment anddeterminingwhen and what kind of maintenance is needed.

  • Flexibility - Able to handle pressure and change

  • Judgment and Decision Making Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the mostappropriate one.

  • Mathematics Using mathematics to solve problems. Monitoring Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself other individuals or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

  • Operation and Control Controlling operations of equipment or systems

  • Operation Monitoring Watching HMI screens gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

  • Read speak and write fluent English

Experience & Education:
High School or Equivalent or the ability to obtain same within specifiedtime.0-2 years product blending preferred. Food Industry experience.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Lifting:Ability to continuously lift weights up to 55 lbs. vertically.

  • Carrying:Ability to continuously carry up to 55 lbs. to distances up to 70 in.

  • Push-Pull:Able to transfer up to 100 lbs. on a sled up todistances of 45ft (no repetitions.

  • Repetitive Coupling:Ability to continuously squeeze Jamer hand Dynamometerrequiringforces up to 10 lbs.

  • Climbing:Ability to continuously ascend and descend a step with a height of 8 in.

  • Temperatures: Varies from 55 to 110 degrees
