Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Saint Simons Island GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will manage access control greet guests and staff verify credentials issue badges and document activity to support a welcoming secure environment. You will stay highly visible communicate clearly with the team and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity reflecting our agile reliable and innovative approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
- Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials as required and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in or contact point.
- Monitor entry points cameras and alarm panels as assigned to help to deter unauthorized entry and document unusual activity per site guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including guest disturbances medical calls and/or property-related concerns and notify site leadership and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property interior common areas and perimeter to help to deter policy violations and identify maintenance or guest service issues to report.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
