What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures access guidelines and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office operations and/or campus areas including exterior and perimeter checks to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify identification visitor authorization and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken and notifying supervision and/or on-site contacts as needed.
• Complete detailed activity incident and patrol reports and communicate unusual conditions hazards and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
