What Youll Do
Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
- Lead the full Annual Operating Plan (budget) for LATAM partnering with department leaders and aligning with U.S. Corporate Finance.
- Evaluate ROI for commercial initiatives including multiyear operating leases market entries and product launches.
- Manage CapEx approval processes building strong business cases and costbenefit analyses.
- Partner with commercial leaders to design review and audit sales incentive programs.
- Own the rolling forecast process (monthly/quarterly) identifying variance drivers and presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Translate data into clear actionable insights for regional and U.S. stakeholders.
- Identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities across LATAM.
Financial Operations & Controllership
- Oversee daily finance operations for Brazil (and future LATAM subsidiaries) including AP AR Payroll Fixed Assets Tax and General Accounting.
- Lead the monthly close process ensuring accurate and timely reporting to U.S. Corporate Finance.
- Maintain both U.S. GAAP reporting and local statutory books.
- Ensure balance sheet quality through consistent reconciliation reviews and issue resolution.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities ensuring full compliance with Brazilian tax and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and develop a team of four finance professionals in Indaiatuba through clear KPIs coaching and performance reviews.
- Provide training on accounting standards and financial systems (ERP OneStream) to strengthen team capability.
- Drive process improvements identifying bottlenecks and leading continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives.
What You Bring
MustHave Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in senior finance accounting or controllership roles within multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations statutory requirements and labor laws.
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to nonfinance stakeholders.
- Fluent Portuguese and professionallevel English.
NicetoHave Qualifications
- Experience with OneStream Hyperion or HFM for consolidation.
- Experience supporting regional expansion into new Latin American markets.
- Professional Spanish for work with Mexico Chile or Peru.
