Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrols in Lakeland FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location you will complete routine patrols and mobile rounds as a driving post help to spot and report security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence for guests and associates. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor entrances loading areas and exterior perimeter adjusting patrol routes based on activity and business needs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting observations and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Monitor for suspicious activity policy violations and/or loss prevention concerns and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional communication.
- Complete incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervisors and onsite contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
