Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Mobile Driver in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a utilities facility by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings yards substations and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access vandalism and/or theft.
- Monitor access control points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees contractors and visitors; document entries exits and deliveries per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarm activations suspicious activity and/or disturbances; request law enforcement and/or medical support when appropriate.
- Complete timely reports and logs communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision and assist with compliance tasks such as badge accountability key control and/or equipment checks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
