You will support dock and yard activity by observing for unusual conditions documenting security-related events and communicating clearly with site contacts. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas docks parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entrances gates and loading areas checking credentials and/or visitor logs and directing drivers vendors and guests to designated areas.
• Document patrols incidents and irregular conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems communicating updates to supervisors and oncoming officers during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
