What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location including corridors waiting areas entrances stairwells and exterior perimeter areas as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry by verifying credentials directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas and following visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances suspicious activity and requests for assistance from staff.
• Observe and report conditions that may impact operations such as blocked exits unsecured doors unattended items and/or unauthorized persons in restricted areas.
• Support a professional environment by using de-escalation techniques and clear communication to help resolve conflicts and/or disruptive behavior.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems as assigned such as alarms cameras and communications equipment and notify appropriate personnel of issues.
• Complete detailed timely reports of daily activities incidents and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
• Coordinate with on-site leadership and local first responders during emergencies including evacuations medical events and/or fire alarm activations as directed by post orders.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence performing patrols and following established procedures for addressing concerns.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality by following applicable policies when handling sensitive information encountered during assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Allied Universal and site leadership in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• - Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• - Be 21 years of age.
• - Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• - Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• - As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
