Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Response Driver in Pompano Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is an armed driving post requiring an armed guard card or license and a valid drivers license. Bring your integrity and teamwork to a caring agile reliable and innovative team.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies access control requirements and security-related procedures at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate contacts and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor alarms cameras and other systems as assigned documenting observations and reporting irregular conditions through established channels.
- Complete reports and logs maintain post orders and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding daily activities and incident follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
