What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access control guidelines and other security-related policies and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location including entrances waiting areas corridors parking areas and perimeter points noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Assist with visitor management activities such as directing foot traffic supporting check-in processes as assigned and helping maintain orderly public areas while documenting security-related observations.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
