Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Roving Patrol Driver in Asheville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed driving patrol assignment at a government location where your visible presence and routine rounds help support a secure environment. You will respond to incidents document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer service. This role values integrity teamwork and a caring culture with an agile and reliable approach to daily security-related priorities.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty gear in accordance with post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations and report any equipment issues per policy.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site staff and local emergency services partners as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter policy violations.
- Control access through gates sally ports and/or checkpoints by verifying identification documenting entries and exits screening for prohibited items as directed and completing written and/or electronic reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
