Job Description
As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Reception in Saint Charles MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to facilities and restricted areas by verifying identification managing visitor processing and documenting entries and exits in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Complete security-related reports logs and required documentation and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
