As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer supporting daily operations. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents assist with access control and report concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients contractors and employees by following site-specific procedures access requirements and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas warehouses exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor alarms cameras and other facility systems as assigned and document observations unusual activity and maintenance issues per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to site contacts Allied Universal leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports activity logs and shift handoffs and support shipping and receiving traffic flow through visitor check-in badge verification and vehicle screening as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
