As a Security Officer - Telecommunications Campus Patrol in Homer Glen IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location you will make routine patrols of offices and grounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations report concerns and work as part of a team that is agile reliable innovative caring and guided by integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and/or visitors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices lobbies loading areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned verify credentials when required and report irregularities according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including observing reporting and documenting events per Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership and support security-related operations during special events and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
