As a Security Officer - Night Patrol in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors respond to concerns and communicate clearly with your team to support smooth daily operations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas lobbies corridors parking areas loading dock areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls disturbances alarms access issues and/or maintenance-related concerns and notify the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor access points and observe tenant and visitor traffic verify credentials as required and assist with directing people to approved entrances elevators and/or amenity areas per site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs incident reports and shift activity documentation and communicate security-related concerns and/or follow-up actions to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
