As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Cadet in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access protocols and security-related policies and completing required documentation.
• Respond to alarms disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors common areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor facility activity for unusual conditions assist with visitor directions and wayfinding and support staff with non-clinical security-related requests within the scope of the post.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities incidents and observations and communicate updates during shift turnover and/or with site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
