As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance document observations and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access control issues alarms and/or requests from site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents patrol activity and security-related observations using required logs and/or electronic reporting systems.
• Support controlled entry processes by verifying credentials directing visitors to the proper check-in location and/or monitoring restricted areas per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
