Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Route in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents respond to resident concerns and document observations using provided technology. With integrity and teamwork you will deliver reliable service communicate clearly and help create a welcoming environment where people come first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a residential community.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing traffic for unusual activity providing assistance with directions and reporting concerns per site procedures.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and participate in briefings and/or pass-downs to support consistent security-related coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
