Hiring Security Professionals for residential complexes in Downtown Miami !!

As a Security Shift Supervisor you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate Healthcare Education Government and more. The Security Shift Supervisor will function as a liaison between the site supervisor Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shifts providing coaching recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

• Pay Rate: $19/per hour.
• Location: Downtown Miami
• Shift: Saturday - Wednesday 3pm 11pm
• Prior security supervisory experience required.

Required (No Exceptions):

• Valid Florida Security License D License
• Valid Drivers License
• Aclean driving record

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Required ability to use a computer or tablet.
• Required comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift.
• Must be Flexible with schedule. Possibility of Overtime.
• The supervisor must be available to cover extra shifts when needed.
• Good Attendance and Punctuality is necessary.
• Previous Shift Supervisor Experience Required.
• Costumer Service Experience.
• Must comply with continuous training and active Administrative Work.
• Complete Tours and Checks inside and outside the building/truck yard.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations required prior to employment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site.
• Manage a team of security officers site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection scheduling payroll training coaching development and support.
• Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
• Build improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.
• Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures site-specific policies and if appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat legible handwriting.
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Ability to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
