Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Polkton NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response procedures at a government location.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and other critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying identification and authorization and documenting visitor and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare clear reports and logs of security-related incidents patrol activity and policy violations and coordinate with on-site personnel and responding public agencies as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
