What Youll Do:
- Analyse changes in product design raw materials manufacturing methods or services to determine effects on cost structures
- Be a proactive member within the NPD team to deliver insights and timely advice on costings opportunities ensuring opportunities are financially viable
- Develop and maintain the standardised costing system including raw materials packaging and finished goods along with the annual cost update
- Analyse manufacturing operations variances and equipment utilisation to identify improvement opportunities
- Review inventory valuations and reconciliations ensuring it is treated appropriately
- Manufacturing Order variance review
- Undertake ad-hoc costing and analysis as required
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- 3 years of experience in Australian manufacturing
- Strengths in cost accounting ideally in food petfood or beverage manufacturing
- Power BI and advanced Excel skills and a love of meaningful data analysis!
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Analytical mindset with a knack for identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
