What Youll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to entry and exit of personnel vehicles and materials.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
• Document and report any security-related incidents observations or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• One or more of the following is required: 1 or more years of law enforcement experience 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
