As a Security Officer Badge Desk Coordinator in Wayne NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in an educational location you will be the welcoming first point of contact helping manage access monitor activity at the entry and support daily security-related operations. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service use technology and build strong communication skills while working with a team that is agile reliable innovative and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies visitor check-in activities and/or emergency response support at a busy educational location.
• Monitor the front desk area greet students staff faculty and visitors and help with access control practices in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to campus contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed logs visitor records and incident documentation and report unusual activity maintenance concerns and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
