Job Description
As a Security Officer - Roving Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location you will monitor and patrol guest areas entrances and back-of-house spaces to help promote a welcoming environment. You will complete routine rounds stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents respond to questions and concerns with calm professionalism and communicate clearly with staff and guests. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents guest concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting on-site management and/or local emergency services as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout public areas back-of-house spaces and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy issues for reporting.
- Monitor access points and common areas verifying authorized entry where applicable and assisting with visitor directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to the next shift and/or site leadership and follow established escalation procedures for security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
