As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Unit Driver in Memphis TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more. Join Allied Universal at a shelter location as an unarmed patrol officer with a driving post requirement and valid drivers license. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete vehicle and foot rounds and support access control while providing customer-focused communication to staff guests and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas exterior grounds entrances parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points by greeting visitors verifying authorization issuing visitor instructions and reporting suspicious behavior to site leadership and/or responding authorities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating conflicts documenting actions taken and coordinating with emergency services when required.
• Complete security-related logs incident reports and shift passdowns; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
